Gaming supervisors must have certain leadership qualities and top notch communication skills. They need these techniques both to supervise employees effectively and to greet clients in order to encourage return visits. Nearly all casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor's degree. Despite their educational background, however, quite a few supervisors gain experience in other gaming occupations before moving into supervisory desks because an understanding of games and casino operations is essential for these employees.
