Gaming supervisors take charge of gaming operations and workers in an assigned area. Circulating among the table games, they make sure that all stations and games are manned for each shift. It also is common for supervisors to interpret the casino's operating principles for guests. Supervisors could also plan and arrange activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have obvious leadership qualities and top notch communication skills. They need these tactics both to manage employees effectively and to greet clients in order to boost return visits. Almost all casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor's degree. Regardless of their educational background, however, quite a few supervisors gain experience in other betting jobs before moving into supervisory desks because an understanding of games and casino operations is quite essential for these workers.
